Jan 06, 2021 · Hi i was wondering if anyone can help shine a light on what is wrong with my boiler (vokera maxin 24e). I've had 2 plumbers out and both have been unable to locate the fault. Whenever I run the hot water in the bath the water is luke warm and the boiler keep cycling from pilot to full burner repeatedly.

Hire an engineer on a parts and labour basis, cost to me about £70. iii) Could be various things, some expensive. Hire a company on a flat fee basis, cost to me £165. My rather old boiler (Vokera Maxin 24e) doesn't have precise temperature control.

My Dad has been around (ex-Corgi) and found that if he pulls the rubber hose off of the fan and blow into it (toward pressure switch) the problem goes away. He suspects the pressure switch might be at fault. Although he can't be sure.

When the hot water is run, it begins hot, and then goes cold, then goes hot again, etc. The boiler clunks off and on again. Its been cleaned, including the fan and venturi, and the thermistor has also been replaced. This has not fixed the problem.
